PLLA Multi-Thread Sutures
Overview
PLLA Multi Threads are professional-grade, bioabsorbable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) sutures indicated for subdermal implantation in patients presenting with moderate facial volume loss, deep dermal depression, and soft tissue laxity. Designed for use by licensed aesthetic physicians and trained medical practitioners only.
- Absorption period: 18–24 months
- Degradation pathway: hydrolysis into L-lactic acid, glucose, CO₂, and water
- Inflammatory response: minimal; significantly lower than PDO
- Collagen stimulation: superior volumizing effect compared to standard monofilament sutures
The multi-strand architecture (10 or 16 lines per cannula) deploys a three-dimensional mesh support structure subcutaneously, providing immediate mechanical filling and progressive biostimulation over the absorption period.
Clinical Indications
- Nasolabial folds (deep dermal depression correction)
- Marionette lines
- Forehead rhytides
- Periorbital lines (crow's feet)
- Infraorbital hollowing (tear trough)
- Malar and submalar volume deficiency
- Perioral lines
Recommended patient profile: Adults aged 30–55 presenting with Glogau Type II–III photoaging, moderate soft tissue ptosis, and volume deficit not requiring surgical intervention.
