Auro PCL Tornado Thread
Volumizing Mechanism & Structural Design
The PCL Tornado Thread, also referred to as a Screw Thread, consists of single or double PCL monofilaments helically wound around the insertion needle. The coiled configuration creates a spring-like scaffold within the subdermal tissue, providing immediate mechanical volumization of sunken or atrophic areas. The double-helix variant offers enhanced anchoring and a more pronounced volumizing effect compared to the single-coil design, and is commonly indicated for general facial lifting procedures.
Recommended Treatment Areas
The PCL Tornado Thread is indicated for the following anatomical regions, selected according to gauge and needle length:
◆ 26G 38mm
Periorbital hollows, glabella, lip border, localized volume deficits, fine surface contouring
◆ 26G 60mm
Malar/cheek volumization, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, mid-face lifting
◆ 26G 90mm
Temporal hollowing, jawline definition, full-face lifting vectors, extended subdermal scaffolding
◆ 27G 38mm
Periorbital hollows, glabella, lip border, localized volume deficits, fine surface contouring
◆ 27G 50mm
Nasolabial folds, marionette lines, localized mid-face volumization
◆ 27G 60mm
Malar/cheek volumization, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, mid-face lifting
◆ 27G 90mm
Temporal hollowing, jawline definition, full-face lifting vectors, extended subdermal scaffolding
